SEYLs Lacrosse Summer 2026 Team

After a terrific 2025 campaign, we are thrilled to announce an expansion in our 2026 summer travel lacrosse offerings. We will now field teams with players from 5th grade through 12th grade. Our program is designed to extend the lacrosse season with competitive play, skill development, and a lot of fun. Here's what we have planned:


Program Overview

Teams: Graduation years - 2032-33 (12U), 2030-31 (14U), 2028-29 (16U), and 2026-27 (18U)

Tournaments:
Fresh Coast Summer Showdown – July 11-12, in St. Joseph, MI
Lax Bash Summer Finale – July 25-26, in Washington, MI

Practices:
Starting the week of June 8th and concluding the week of July 22nd.
Held on Mondays and Wednesdays at St. Charles Parish, Monroe, MI.
A total of up to 12 practices to hone skills and build team chemistry.

Coaching Team:
Core coaches: Ethan Judd, Cole Stotler, Ryan Wedemeier (Monroe), Garrett Weaver (Bedford), Andrew Yanna (Downriver).
Guest coaches throughout the summer to enhance the program.


Tryout Information

We’re looking for skilled players with a strong lacrosse IQ to join this exciting program.

Location: St. Charles Parish, Monroe, MI.
Date/Time Friday, May 8th and 15th, 5:30 - 7:00 PM
Details: Coaches are encouraged to recommend 3-5 players. We will also accept players' outside recommendations through tryouts.
Tryout Fee:  $10

Player Registration
The registration fee is estimated at $575 and includes:
Participation in two tournaments (minimum of eight games).
Up to 12 practices.
A two-piece uniform.
Coverage for coaches’ travel expenses (gas, food, and hotel) and a small stipend for their time and expertise.
We are finalizing a detailed program summary and will share it with you soon. In the meantime, we need your help spreading the word! Please share this opportunity with players and families who would benefit from extending their lacrosse season. Your recommendations of players with strong skills and lacrosse IQ are invaluable.
